CLUB MILESTONE

Congratulations to Andrew Wright, who has brought up his 400th Club Match for the Glen Waverley Cougars.

After debuting for the Club in 1989/90 as an Under 12, Wrighty has become a Club stalwart, scoring over 4,000 Club Runs and taking over 500 Club Wickets, placing him as our 3rd highest wicket taker and 4th highest games played. Wrighty has taken on countless roles within the club throughout his career including, 1st XI Captain, x7 2nd XI Captain, Junior Vice President, x2 Premiership Coach to name a few. He has also won a truckload of bowling (and batting) awards, is a x3 Premiership player, x2 Club Champion and was awarded the Club’s highest honour in 2016/17 with Life Membership.

We congratulate Wrighty on this massive achievement, and look forward to seeing him notch up his next round of milestones in the not too distant future!
