Jason came to the Club in 1996 and played 3 seasons before an extremely serious football injury curtailed his on-field participation.

Following the accident in 1999, Jason took on the role of Chairman of Selectors for one season and then Club Secretary for 4 seasons, before becoming Club President for a further 3 seasons.

Jason has served on the committee for 16 seasons, being involved also as Club Delegate, Junior Co-Ordinator and coaching Junior teams for 8 seasons.

He also co-ordinated the Club’s successful 50 Year Celebrations in 2011/12.

Jason’s greatest thrill was to coach an exciting U/13 flag in 2014/15 and he continues to be actively involved in club activities and is a valuable sponsor of the club.

Jason now has the U/17 “MVP” trophy named in his honour.
