Richard is one of the quiet achievers in the Club.
He started as an 11 year old in the U/12 side of 1987/88 which were runners up.
Moving up to U/14’s the team won consecutive flags with Mark Hughes as coach.
Richard played 54 games in the Juniors and is in the top 20 players for wickets taken, overs bowled, best average with an economy rate of 2.66.

As a a Senior player he Captained the 3rd Xl and was a Premiership player 4 times (Juniors & Seniors)
Richard coached the U/14’s in 1994/95, U/16’s for two seasons, winning the flag in 1997/98 and then returned to coach the fledging U/11’s in 2018/19.
